Weigh In Wednesday #1

          Toady in gym, in the locker room, I discovered that I had no socks. Taylor says, "you could just go barefoot!" what a brilliant idea. And so that's what I did. I walked out there barefooted, thinking that there's no way I'm wearing sweaty shoes without socks, and no way I was going to wear school socks (Dun Dun Dun)! Then, I found out we were playing soccer, and I decided to ask Mr. Reeves for socks. "Um, well I don't know if we... um.. let me go see if we have any-" "No! ya know what? I'll just wear my own shoes without socks!" So I ran off to the locker room, opened my locker, and got out my shoes. Guess what? The sock were inside the shoes... oh boy.

          So, as we all know, today is Weigh-In Wednesday! I officially started my diet three days ago, on Monday. I did not weigh myself when I started (stupid!) but I did get weighed a couple of weeks ago in gym. I was 184. Now, I am 182. I guess that's not bad, but I do wanna try harder. I need more time to exercise. I need to be harsher with my diet. Smaller dinners, because I get pretty full at dinner. Also possibly later dinners, because it would help with evening snacking. And of course, more water, because I don't drink nearly enough water!

          Alrighty, well two pounds officially down, and oh, I don't know at least sixty more to go! Woo!

Day 2

          Today, I didn't go to school because we accidentally slept in! That's OK, there's nothing wrong with every once in a while! I didn't have breakfast, but I did have an early lunch:
Lunch
Banana
Baby Carrots
Green Olives
          I sliced the banana up, so it was kind of like a cute little finger food platter.. it was good! Then for dinner we grilled. We had these really delicious steaks. I know what I said about meat, but I just couldn't resist!We're grilling again on Friday! My sister will be coming over. She's pregnant, and guess what? I get to make and ice the cake for the baby shower! So, I have to show her ideas for the icing decor. That's why we're grilling. My Best Friend, Eva should be there too! It'll be fun!

Weight Watchers Ice Cream Sandwich(Mmmmm....) 

          Ugh.. I am such the procrastinator...If I had to point out my largest flaw, that would be it! I still haven't set up that Treadmill yet. But of course, we first have to clean out our very messy garage. not that it hasn't been done before, but it is quite a feat. So, let's all hope I get done sometime!

Day 1-Meat

          Alright, today's my first day of recording what I ate, and what I did. Lets begin:
Breakfast
Whole Grain Cheerios(one of those little packets at school)
Pears
Lunch
Carrots
Pears
One Piece of Pizza
Dinner
          We were having leftovers, so I made this little burrito with rice, mashed potatoes, and cheese. It wasn't half bad! I also had a little chicken fried steak... Ever had it? It's good if your into meat.

           I, personally have always been a big fan of meat. I can't resist a grill, and chicken nuggets are always a good, quick lunch. But now that I'm on this diet, I really shouldn't be eating too much meat, In fact, I may just give it all up. Of course, unprocessed, skinless, boiled chicken is very healthy, so that would be fine. I'm not saying I'm going 100%, but eating far less meat most certainly is a goal of mine. The fat in meat can really add up in cholesterol, and we don't need nearly as much protein as you may think. In fact, plants do have protein, and you can get enough from them. So, if you're thinking of becoming a vegetarian, don't worry about that!

In Gym Today, We Played Soccer and Basketball(I was the best in my group of 4!((or I may have been tied with Hunter)) )
I Danced In My Room For a Half An Hour
          Well, I'll see you tomorrow! I'm not super proud of today, because I really didn't change my diet, but eating strictly is something I'll have to get used to. So, maybe tomorrow will be better!

Blog 0

          Alrighty everyone, today is Day 0! Which of course, means that tomorrow is Day 1. From now on, I will be blogging daily, telling what I've done, and, mostly, what I've eaten. This will help me refrain from eating shameful things. You see, if I am tempted to eat junk food, or drink pop, I'll think about how I'm going to have to tell all you people, and hopefully this will persuade me to do otherwise.

          Also, we will be having Weigh-In Wednesdays! Every Wednesday, I will weigh-in, and tell you what comes up on that little scale of mine. We recently got a new scale, so it should be nice and accurate!My goal is to lose at least a couple of pounds a week, but I'm sure, I'll have my bad weeks. I'm sure there will be days when I just need some junk food. I'm sure there will be times when I'm just too tired to exercise, but for the most part I'm ready to start a new life style!

          I was gonna start my diet the day after my first post, but last week just wasn't my week for starting a diet, but now I'm ready to go! I'll let you guys know what I eat tomorrow, and any exercise I do. I haven't got the treadmill up yet, but I have other ways to exercise. So, I better get bed! You know, getting enough sleep can have huge affect on weight loss.

All About Me...

          Hello, everybody! And welcome to my brand-spanking-new blog, Teeny Teen Loser. Let me explain my title. Teeny: I am 14 years old, in 9th grade, and only 4 foot, 9 inches. so yeah, I'm short. some of my friends call me shorty, or even "shawtie". Teen: As you you already know, I am indeed a teenager! Loser: no not that kind of loser! Loser as in losing weight. You see I am quite chubby, and being so short really doesn't help the situation. That's what this blog is all about; my weight loss journey. But you know, it isn't just about me, it's also about you. I know it can be hard to accomplish things without a friend by your side, and that's my role to you. I also want you to be there for me... We're all in this together!

          Hi, My name is Samantha Lynnette Williams. You shall call Sammy. It's not too long, it's not to short, as I could also be called Sam. Some of friends do call me that, so don't be shy! I live in West Virginia, in a neighborhood where each house is pretty much the same. They all at least started out with three bedrooms, one bathroom and a garage. We all own a quarter of an acre. It's a nice little place that I've always though to be a perfect in between of country and city. A little away from the city, but with lots of neighbors and friends right around the corner!

          So, this blog is about weight loss. I've been overweight since 3rd grade, and frankly, and want it over with! You may think that six years isn't very long, but as that's almost half my life, and about all of it that I can remember, it's quite a bit to me! Now, since last summer I've been thinking about losing weight. Going into high school has pressured my about the subject, and now I'm gonna stop thinking, (not literally) and start doing. We just got a treadmill, and as I really don't want to run in public, it should help. By this time next year, I am going to at my goal. Yes! that's right! I will lose all the weight I want to lose within a year. Most likely less, but who knows what the future may hold; there be some obstacles, or maybe I'll just want a couple of weeks of eating what ever the heck I want!
         
        OK, so some of you might think this is crazy, but I'm going to lose weight by eating healthy and exercising! Now, I really don't know how much I want to lose, because I have no idea how I'll look at what weight. What I do know is that I weigh 184 (woah!) and I want to be skinny! No, no chunkiness! I don't want to be a teeny stick figure either. That's one thing I have to watch out for! Being too skinny isn't all that flattering either. I just wanna be a cute curvy Q. So, eating three healthy meals and running on the new treadmill, of playing Just Dance, or walking around the neighborhood, or swimming, or playing with my 7-year-old neighbor every single day should do the trick! I know what your saying... no pills? No starving myself? Nope. Because I don't just wanna be skinny, I wanna be healthy!

          So, I'm here to share my journey to the world! To inspire others to lose weight as well, to prove it can be done, to get my self going, because if I have an audience, I have a reason, and to be a friend to others who want advice, or need some one to talk with.  I'll try to post a couple of times a week. To tell you what I've been eating, and how I've exercised! I'll try to check in on my weight every couple of weeks, and I really do need to give you some pictures... I don't like pictures, but my mom has been telling me that I'll want them as a reminder later. Also, if I don't I'll feel as though your talking to a wall. You won't truly know who I am until you see me. And your gonna wanna see my progress in picture form as well. Most likely, if I exercise enough, I may gain muscle, and be looking better than what I weigh, if that makes any sense.

          My journey begins now. Wish me luck, and I'll wish you the same, my-not-so-loyal-readers-because-this-is-only-my-first-post.
